Grammars of the Possible brings together a group of women artists whose practices explore language as a fluid and transformative field. Driven by imagination as a force of possibility, their works move beyond the limits of verbal communication, allowing language to take the form of matter, gesture, sound and visual structures. In doing so, they create spaces where difference becomes relation and communication becomes an inclusive act of shared experience.
From visual poetry to fiber art, from coded alphabets to the expressive potential of materials, each artist redefines language as an expanded system—flexible, embodied and constantly shifting between disciplines and forms. Meaning no longer resides exclusively in words, but emerges through perception, rhythm and matter, inviting viewers to experience language beyond its conventional boundaries.
At the core of the project lies the idea of translation: not as a transfer between fixed systems, but as a creative act through which language continually becomes something else. Here, translation generates new relationships, expands the possibilities of communication, and opens new ways of imagining, seeing and inhabiting the world.
